Who is mentoring for, and what are the prerequisites?

Mentoring services are primarily designed for neurofeedback students and practitioners seeking to meet BCIA certification requirements or resolve complex clinical issues. The only prerequisite is that you have completed or are currently enrolled in a foundational neurofeedback didactic course (like Sadar’s BCIA Didactic Course) and are ready to apply the concepts to real-world cases.

How do I know which mentoring service is right for me?

The best service depends on your immediate goal:

  • BCIA Certification Mentoring: Choose this if you need documented hours and case reviews to submit for your BCIA certification.
  • Clinical Case Consultation: Choose this if you are a practicing clinician needing help troubleshooting a current, challenging client case (e.g., complex TBI, medication interactions).
  • Advanced qEEG/ERP Review: Choose this if you need assistance interpreting data, refining analysis techniques, or linking complex brain maps to treatment protocols.
How long are the sessions, and are they in-person or remote?

All mentoring sessions are conducted remotely via video conference, allowing us to connect you with top experts regardless of your location. Sessions are typically scheduled for 60 minutes to ensure ample time for in-depth discussion, case review, and actionable guidance.

Can I choose a specific mentor, and what if their specialty is fully booked?

Yes, you are encouraged to browse the profiles of our BCIA-approved mentors and select the expert whose specialization aligns best with your needs (e.g., HRV, qEEG, specific clinical populations). If your preferred mentor is temporarily unavailable, you can check the availability of other qualified consultants or contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

What is your policy regarding payment and cancellations?

All payments are final, and cancellations are not refunded. Our mentors dedicate time to review your materials and prepare for your session in advance. Therefore, we require 24 business hours notice for any scheduling changes. If you must reschedule, please notify us outside the 24-business-hour window.
