Interactive metronome
Interactive metronome is timing training to help improve focus and attention.
…and to reduce impulsivity in children, adolescents, and adults, including athletes, ADHD or autism. IM trains the brain to plan, sequence and process information faster and more accurately. The program involves approximately 15 one-hour sessions over a 3 to 5 week period. A series of hand and foot exercises are performed while IM’s patented auditory guidance system progressively challenges individuals to improve their accuracy as they actively attempt to match the computer generated beat. The program measures the difference between the individual’s response and the reference beat in milliseconds and provides a score widely beneficial.
Motor planning and sequencing problems have been linked to various developmental, behavioral, and learning challenges. Individuals who experience difficulties with motor planning, sequencing and timing may include those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, speech and language delays, motor and sensory disorders, and a range of other conditions. Â Interactive Metronome also has clear benefits for athletes.
